Climatronics maintains several specialized test capabilities in
addition to the normal engineering test facilities. Our NIST-standards
laboratory contains state-of-the-art instruments for the specialized area
of the meteorological sciences, including a certified wind tunnel, an environmental
chamber, a pressure testing facility, and sensor calibrators. The wind tunnel, with
a test area of 2x2x6 feet, is used extensively for the development and calibration
of wind instruments. All test procedures are traceable to NIST and follow ASTM or
EPA recommended methods. The environmental chamber and pressure testing facility
easily reach the limits of the conditions typically found in the lower atmosphere.

Climatronics’ engineering facility is staffed by degreed engineers and outfitted
with sufficient equipment to permit the efficient design and development of any
type of environmental monitoring system.
Our Engineering Department employs engineers and engineering technicians whose areas of
expertise span a variety of disciplines, including mechanical design, circuit design,
logic design, software development, system integration, and reliability engineering.
Because our NY location is in one of the high-tech centers of the United States,
we have available an extensive source of consultants, experts, and highly recognized
environmental and engineering testing institutions to assist our in-house staff in
solving problems as we extend the borders of environmental monitoring technology.
Climatronics can provide complete turnkey field installation and system calibration by experienced field engineers.
Upon request, Climatronics provides training services for all our products and systems.
Training sessions may be held at our corporate headquarters in Bohemia, NY, or on-site, whichever
best accommodates the specific requirement. For situations where it may not be possible to schedule
a more formal training session, or where there may be no permanent staff assigned to a project,
we can provide a training video of a system set-up and operation.
Climatronics’ Field Engineers provide installation assistance, turn-key installation
and on-site training as may be desired or required by any particular project. For projects involving
larger towers or a greater degree of construction-type civil works we can act as the general contractor
or provide details involving our equipment to allow local contractors to bid on and execute the work.
We maintain a strategic relationship with an established tower erector and instrument elevator manufacturer.
Our Field Service personnel will also perform on-site calibration and repair on a contract basis.

New Equipment
All instruments are warranted against defects in parts or workmanship for a period of two
(2) years from the date of shipment. Should any instrument or part prove to be defective
within the warranty period, upon written notice and return of the unit (freight prepaid),
Climatronics Corporation will, at its option, repair or replace the defective unit, and return it,
transportation prepaid via UPS.
Equipment abused, modified, or altered may cause cancellation of this warranty.
The above warranty applies only to items manufactured by Climatronics Corporation. Items not
manufactured by Climatronics Corporation are warranted only to the extent and in the manner warranted
by the manufacturer of such items. Should emergency warranty repair be required at a customer's facility,
Climatronics will provide such repairs and charge only the portal-to-portal Field Service rates and actual
expenses in accordance with our published rates then in effect. Expendable supplies and wear items,
such as bearings and lightning- related damages, are not covered under this warranty.
