Climatronics Corporation now offers a version of its successful military TACMET II Weather Station (P/N 102254) specifically configured and packaged for HAZMAT Emergency Response and Homeland Security real-time weather data requirements.
This rapidly deployable, compact, self-contained system is packaged in two rugged cases, one for the sensor, battery and optional solar panel, and the other for the tripod and "quick"-mount. The system requires very little power and can be operated from most common AC or DC power sources. It is easily set up and fully operational in under five minutes. The TACMET II may also be vehicle mounted on a Mobile Command Center Vehicle. Data are transmitted either via wire or wirelessly via an internal spread spectrum radio.
The TACMET II Portable Weather Station provides real time data for display and analysis using our WeatherView™, AWeather™, or NOAA's CAMEO/ALOHA software products. Weatherview and AWeather run on a Laptop or PDA; CAMEO/ALOHA with Marplot (for detailed area specific plume dispersion display/tracking) requires a laptop.
Typical applications include HAZMATemergency response, individual facility security and emergency response management, forest fire or controlled burning management, special event security, and temporary local aviation support.
Climatronics is a leading manufacturer of weather sensors and systems specializing in turn-key system integration and custom application. We supply and service our equipment worldwide and maintain a complete factory calibration facility at our corporate headquarters on Long Island, NY.
