10-Meter Turnkey Weather Stations Offerings

Climatronics Expands 10-Meter Turnkey Weather Stations Product Line

June 13, 2003

Climatronics Corporation continues to expand its line of "packaged" turnkey 10-meter weather stations. These systems are configured from a matrix of proven cost-effective sensors and data acquisition modules and are provided with tilt-over aluminum towers, all mounting and lightning protection hardware, as-built documentation and user-friendly application software. Typical sensor complements include wind speed, wind direction, temperature, relative humidity, pressure, and, as additionally required, vertical wind, precipitation and solar radiation. Climatronics' Sonimomter™, a no-moving part sonic anemometer is also offered to help reduce/eliminate periodic maintenance requirements.

Climatronics' Weather Stations can either store data for later download and analysis or provide real time data for display and analysis using our WeatherView™, AWeather™, CSI Loggernet™, or NOAA Cameo/Aloha software products. Data can be used to generate METAR, SYNOP and SPECI meteorological messages as well as build an archive data base for long term trending and research.

Typical applications include local and national regulatory compliance monitoring, climatological research, dust or odor control monitoring, special event testing, backup meteorological data collection to a primary station or network, and local aviation support.

Climatronics is a leading manufacturer of weather sensors and systems specializing in turn-key system integration and custom application. We supply and service our equipment throughout the world and maintain a complete factory calibration facility. We also distribute and support REMTECH Doppler Sodars in the US.
